Anand Selvaraj is the Director of GA Power Design & Engineering and a specialist HV Plant CDAE / substation design consultant with more than 20 years of experience across UK and international high-voltage substation projects. His experience covers 11kV to 400kV AIS and GIS substations, National Grid project procedures, FEED optioneering, detailed design, design assurance, civil / structural interfaces, short-circuit force calculations, earthing layouts, equipment arrangements, connector systems and constructability-led design.
Anand has supported major transmission, distribution, renewable, data centre and interconnector projects from development stage through design delivery and technical assurance. He has worked with leading organisations including ABB / Hitachi legacy environments, Jacobs, Burns & McDonnell and GA Power, and has provided technical support across National Grid, SSEN and SPEN-related project environments. His approach is based on practical engineering judgement, standards compliance, cost-benefit optimisation and timely resolution of technical issues to protect project programme.
Sambanthan Loganathan, B.E., IEng is an experienced Electrical Engineer with over 20 years of expertise in HVDC systems, high-voltage substations, and renewable energy infrastructure. He has contributed to major offshore converter platforms, grid interconnection projects, and wind and solar farm substations across the UK, Europe, Australia, Asia, and the Middle East. As an Incorporated Engineer certified by the IET, Sam brings strong technical knowledge in design engineering, project delivery, CAD systems, and sustainable power transmission solutions.
